Avoid Water Leaks

 

Stay Up to Date

 

Hurricane Season

  1. Listen to your radio or TV for storm updates and instructions.

  2. Keep the following on hand:

  3. Portable radio

  4. Extra batteries.

  5. Flash light and candles.

  6. Manual can opener.

  7. Matches or lighter.

  8. First aid kit and special medications.

  9. Five day supply of non-perishable food.

  10. Ice chest and blue ice packs.

  11. Containers of water.

  12. Masking tape for windows.

  13. Bring all potted plants into the apartment.

  14. Remove furniture/items from apartment entrance ways and lanais.

  15. Keep your drapes closed.

  16. Stay indoors during high winds.  Again, be prepared.

In the event of a power failure, MVT has an emergency backup generator which supplies power to the common areas such as exterior lighting, water pumps, and elevators.  The generator does not supply power to the apartments.

 

Fire Safety

Fire extinguishers and hoses are located on the walkways on every floor.  Fire alarm stations are located in each lobby.  Click below for fire/emergency evacuation plans.
